The. A/C went out at my mom’s house. My husband called to see if they could sent someone out today. The technicians had just finished their last stop for the day. Dakota and Terence said the would come out to Cottageville to look at my moms a/c. They were professional and friendly and did such a great job that we signed up for their yearly service! During annual maintenance Seth was very helpful in answering my questions and didn’t mind me talking with him while he did the work. Recently with the hot weather, our ac wasn’t cooling. Mike came out and fixed our pressures that were off which helped some. It was determined our unit is undersized for the square footage of a new build home back in 2022/2023 and the current high temperatures. The estimate for a complete system replacement was cheaper than what others quoted a family member for doing their whole house furnace and ac system with less tonnage. Both Seth and Mike were polite, courteous and professional.

I had a problem with my outdoor unit. Fan stopped working and the system overheated, shutting itself down. Searched online and found these guys after blowing past the sponsored guys with a thousand reviews. I'd rather not do business with people who have to pay extra for more business; I think honest businesses can stand on their reputation without putting their finger on the scale. I digress, Mike came out the same day in the afternoon. I was happy they were able to get me scheduled the same day. It's hot in South Carolina during this time of year and I was worried about this becoming a days' long affair. Well, Mike was able to diagnose the issue immediately after taking the cover off of my unit. It was a bad capacitor, and if I knew what I was doing (I don't with HVAC other than very basic maintenance) it would have been a $40 fix. But I'm paying for the service and the expertise, and while it hurt my wallet, Mike made no attempt to over sell, push me into extra work, nothing at all like that. He simply diagnosed the problem, had the replacement part in his work truck, and fixed it. Even told me it was pretty fortunate all things considered, as a new fan motor would have been much more expensive than a blown capacitor and instead of paying three figures that would have been four. Anyways, thanks Mike and Coastal Carolina Comfort for keeping me somewhat sane amongst this heat.
